The people sang with one voice and he was always thinking of the people. In 1967 there was large meeting of clerics in Zumarraga. Fr.Lertxundi by then had finished the mass book for all the year and the songs. But they started the work of translating into Basque and left that to one side. Although later they took some songs made by him. Those people from Hegoalde did not know how to appreciate the work that they had done.
